The reason is that we just moved our website to the new server (from 6th July to 7th July) and we are now constructing a new demo site for all of our customers. In the past, we only have one demo site, and we are going to separate the demo sites to different sections, one is for Access Control and the other one is for Membership control. We need some time to finish this.
Sorry about the inconvenience during the website migration!
Best wishes,

Example: Access Control shows 2.4 beta and May 16 2009 as file version/date but is V2.4 RC3 and June 11 2009 release. Only way you would know it is updated would be to download and look at readme. Especially if you miss the new version email.

1. It would be nice to know which policy is firing
2. Is it possible to only show the pencil icon on articles that you have update rights to

Are you talking about the Access Control component?
Second, are these suggestions for the component or for our forum?

to earlier Beta2.
Glad to see system ban IP in the default install package. Very useful for windows IIS users since they can't use htaccess passwords to help secure admin login.
One thing I would still like added would be the ability to sort the blacklist table by different columns. Like especially IP to see if there are any ranges showing up a lot or such.
Something I had previously mentioned was some way to ban by subnet ranges. Have not seen any notes anywhere that this is working or will eventually work.
Good work. You may turn everything you are doing in to a full business eventually.

Thank you so much for your comments! Yes, actually we have planned to add that in version 2.1 beta. We found that version 2.0 has taken a long time to be finished because a lot of features were added to it, and we need to make sure that it is stable enough to do the most important job first -- anti-hacking protection.
Currently I see that RC2 is almost stable enough, and we would like to release the stable version soon. Then we will need to setup an efficient update system for users to update their signature database and scanning patterns plus updates of core files if necessary.
After we finally get the whole system working smoothly, we will move to version 2.1, and will add the range function to it. This is because it requires modifying the anti hacker component plus the scanning class file, which will bring in instability of the software. We would like to invite users to test this beta version then to make sure it works properly.
Again, thanks for your comments!
